Zipple Bay State Park – If you are looking to hike, camp, bird watch, or stroll the beach during warm weather you have found the right place. In the winter you can enjoy snowshoeing, snowmobiling, or cross-country skiing.
Timber Mill Community Park – This city park just on the east side of town offers many attractions to fill your day. Take a leisurely stroll on the walking path. Enjoy a quiet picnic or family gathering in the pavilion area. Spend some time throwing horseshoes, playing volleyball, or swinging at the playground. Timber Mill also offers a public boat ramp, fish cleaning facility and bath house.
Lake of the Woods Museum – has a large display area, audio-visual programs and a comprehensive library, which includes microfilm of the county newspapers from 1907-1960. Catch up on what makes Lake of the Woods the county it is today.
