Our Walleye Inn Hotel is a 15-minute drive south of our main Resort in Baudette, MN. These newly-renovated comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed rooms, are equipped with a microwave and mini fridge.
Continental breakfast is provided each morning, and if you add a fishing package, you will meet your guides at Miles Lab Bar & Grill at River Bend Resort each morning and be led out to your ice house.

Looking for a more adventurous overnight fishing experience? Enjoy “Lake Camping” in a sleeper ice fishing house.
Our Sleeper houses are spacious and comfortable, can accommodate up to 6, and are always preheated with two pre-drilled holes per person. We also have a new bath house located on our resort property to freshen up.
We provide pretty much everything you’ll need except food and a generator.

All of our Day Houses are spacious and comfortable ice shacks for the specified number of fishermen and always preheated with two pre-drilled holes for each person. We also provide live bait, toilet paper, garbage bags, propane lights, and fish cleaning.

The ice fishing season typically starts in early December, depending on ice conditions, and continues to the end of March. We are allowed to keep our ice houses out until March 31st, but reservations and ice safety make the biggest impact on how long we keep them out in March.
Popular winter catches include Walleye, Sauger, Northern Pike, and Perch, with the Sturgeon and Crappie making common appearances as well.
Our ice houses are equipped with heating, comfortable seating, and modern fishing amenities, ensuring a cozy and successful outing. Each ice house has two pre-drilled holes per angler.
Yes, we offer two different size ice shacks. We have 4 and 6 person ice houses available. We assign guests with adequate houses to fit the size of their group.
Absolutely. Ice conditions are checked daily as guides prepare for each day of fishing. We ensure that ice conditions are safe and stable before allowing any activities. Please understand that weather and ice conditions can change rapidly, and our decisions are based on the safety of our crew and guests.
Certainly! We offer guided ice fishing trips for both beginners and experienced anglers. Our ice guides will give instruction upon arrival and visit your ice house periodically.
Yes, ice fishing techniques differ from open-water fishing, and our expert guides can assist you with tips and tricks. Our guides are out each day and have experience in targeting the fish. Although some may be accustomed to the same techniques used on other lakes, our guides are more than willing to share the techniques that are working during the time you are fishing. It is up to you to apply or not apply these tips or tricks. We do not guarantee fish as catching them is up to you!
Layered, insulated, and waterproof clothing is recommended. As our houses are adequately heated, it’s essential to stay warm and dry. Always be prepared for the cold Minnesota weather!
