Summer fishing on the big waters of Lake of The Woods means flexibility. Fishing has remined good throughout the week especially when Mother Nature tosses us a front or a low steady wind (5-10 mph). The wind helps with a drift and bait presentation which combined will entice a bite.
Yesterday marked the end of the 2020 – 21 Lake of The Woods walleye season. What a year to look back on. The pandemic. Riots. The election. And everything in-between. One thing remained constant through all of that. It brought all of us together and showed us that there is hope.
